We are based in Cambridge, therefore the operator will be paid from and to Cambridge regardless of where they start and finish off the week. Operators will be allowed to take their units home during their time off, however, if they are under a trailer and load, we will secure a safe location to either drop the trailer, or park the entire unit.

Rate per mile: $1.35

The Owner Operator provides:

Cross-border operators will be required to participate in a Drug program that requires pre-employment, and random drug/alcohol testing.

Lane 1: Bolingbrook IL  (1200 miles, round trip)

• Bobtail to Bolingbrook IL
• Pick up new trailer in Bolingbrook,
• Deadhead to Fisher IN for backhaul
• Deliver load in Brampton ON
• Drop Trailer in Mississauga ON

Lane 2: Glade Spring VA (2200 miles, round trip)

• Bobtail to Glade Springs VA
• Pick up new trailer in Glade Springs VA
• Deadhead to Pontotoc MS for backhaul
• Deliver load in Beamsville ON
• Drop trailer in Mississauga ON

Lane 3: Toronto to Montreal (785 miles, round trip – Canada only)

• No Bobtailing
• Pick up new trailer and load in Toronto
• Deliver, and drop trailer in Montreal
• Pick up new trailer and load in Montreal Area
• Deliver Load and drop trailer in Cambridge/Kitchener area

All three lanes are dedicated and the driver is pre-dispatched for each run. Operators are able to combine two or three of the lanes, for exemple, a longer lane with a shorter lane to meet their weekly mileage, and home-time needs.

The two cross border lanes require the operator to bobtail out to pick the trailer, however, we are working on securing outbound trailers and freight as well since most operators will frown on bobtailing in the winter. We pay all mileage the same, and they are paid round trip, this includes all deadhead and bobtail mileage.
